We all know we have a choice,
To make the people around us,
Listen to our voice.
If you just hide in the shadows,
If you just crouch in sorrow,
Lift up your chin!
Believe that you can win!

Speak your mind,
Don’t let yourself fall behind.
If you fall, pick yourself back up!
Don’t sit around waiting for luck.
Let the fire in your heart kindle,
Don’t let it lie there and dwindle!

Go ahead and chase your dreams,
Stand your ground and never leave,
If someone’s in darkness,
lead them to the light.
If someone’s depressed and unhappy,
Show them that every thing’s all right.

Hold yourself with pride,
But don’t let it take you for a ride.
Keep your heart pure and free,
Close your eyes, and shout a plea.
We all have the choice,
to do these things.
Speak your voice,
and trust me,
you’ll feel free.
