With little hesitation to disregard danger,
Slowly he walked into the flash of the night.
Contemplating who could be this stranger,
A man in which is impossible to fight.
Both men wanting to kill for her.
From a pain in their chests so tight,
That couldn’t bring the two any closer.
With the quickness of the white light,
A glisten in the eyes just enough to cause a blur,
Stopped him from seeing the path of right,
And sent him on without the answer.
Now blind from what used to cause him so much hurt,
He knows to use his heart an not his sight.
