Love lies bleeding in shades of grey
With only the memory of some
Distant day… velvet words so soft
And sweet
End in violence on a
Blood soaked street.

Emotions crawl insidious… in my
Fevered brain ravenously,
My madness is fed with the
Wine bottle beside me
Where my nightmare clings
Like leaves on an autumn tree.

Death awaits with grasping claws
Crimson tears fall bleeding,
Vanity a thing that is dead forever.
Parchment skin
Hugs the skeleton of lost beauty
Maybe I am forgiven all my sin.

Heartache and pain are here to stay
Black clouds envelope the manic
Thoughts inside my head, I am in
Fear of dark turbid invasions.
In my dreams I am in a sea of
Tranquility… in sweet infusions.
