She breaks my heart like the broken reflection her crying eyes stare into

A reflection that isn’t real to the nature of that in which it claims to mirror

There’s a broken reflection…
but the mirror still stands tall,
she’s the one that breaks and falls

And I scream like her only lover
a shrill scream that can only cover
the shattering sounds that I hear from her fragile figure
as she falls deep
below the ground keeping steady my bare feet
she’s gone lower than I can go, I can’t reach
down enough to lift her back up or even down enough to break her fall…
so I SCREAM:

Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
how do you manage to deceive them all?
