Living with regret
Fear is what we live by
Our demands left unmet

Ignoring all the warnings
Avoiding all the signs
Wondering how these mistakes we’ve made
Are bleeding through the lines

Hope is all we ask for
Defeat is what we find
Searching for the answer
Hidden deep inside our minds

Fragile lives left weary
Hearts beating cold
Dreams bruised and broken
From the lies we’ve been told

All we want are answers
Rules for this game
They’re looking at us through the glass
