which mechanical hero floats your boat?
a few say the transformers,
robocop’s a popular bloke.
daleks,yes they’re creepy,
mamby pamby “Robby”,from “Lost in space”
but Ed 209 must be the all out winner,
nothing can fill that space.
creeking,lumbering, awesome,
mean and moody,gun barrelled chest,
takes no crap, or no prisoners.
Ed 209 is the best.
voice deep and mysterious, daunting threatening bulk is steely cold,
no arguments from me then,
promise I’ll do as I’m told
you’ve got thirty whole seconds,
want to live?then you must comply,
don’t dither,or in a rain of bullets,
you’ll meet with a blood riddled demise!
Ed no one understands you?
you stand tall above other ‘bots
and all they can do is envy,
they aint got what you’ve got.
