It’s snowing!it’s snowing!everywhere is white .
It must have snowed loads while I slept last night?
Quick!where are my wellies,my coat and my hat?
Oh,and my big scarf I can’t forget that.
Outside huge snowflakes are still floating down,
I try to catch them before they reach the ground.
stick out my tongue, one settles it’s cold.
It doesn’t taste of anything at all.
following small footprints they lead to a tree.
Look up to see a sparrow he doesn’t seem pleased.
So I fetch him some left over food from the kitchen.
Put it on the bird table, the water is frozen.
The whole world seems quiter,it doesn’t make sense?
I hear giggles from over the fence?
A snowball hits me,right in the eye!
This means war now so prepare to die!
Snow balls are flying, this way and that,
One really big one knocks off my hat!
My nose is running,my ears are red too,
I’m not going in yet there’s still lots to do.
Time for a snowman,it’s quite hard work,
Huffing and puffing makes clouds appear.
He needs something?a hat and for his arms some twigs.
I’m very pleased with him he’s really big!
Freezing, and hungry but don’t want to go in yet.
I can’t feel my feet now, they’ve fell off I bet?
You see in the morning the snow could be gone?
Oh no I’ve still got my pyjamas on !
