There is a meadow full of golden light
Where trees etched with emerald drops
Sway and dance throughout the night.
Cloves spring here and there
Tiny balls of cotton float through the air
Singing petals twirl around
Chanting and chiming a beautiful sound
Hope and promise tweet like birds
With tree trunks and rocks
Instead of words
A blue hole encircles above
It is dotted with pillows of white
that giggle and sigh and puff with life
Rainbows peak out shyly through their own terrain
Not having to follow the depressions of rain
A windy road through swirling hills has to be paved
To find where this forgotten world of bliss lays
A soft crunch of grass as I kneel and pray
Knowing that death will not come today.
