One day out of the blue,
And old friendship has been renewed.
They talked and laughed remembering the past,
Through the years the attraction seemed to last.

In her mind the fantasies grew,
Of a young love that could have been true.
She dreamed of him day and night,
As her fantasies took a dreamy flight.

She dreamed him walking in the woods one day,
She wanted to speak and have him look her way.
She was dressed in a long flowing lace gown,
The hem slightly soiled from touching the ground.

Did she dare?
She wanted so much for him to know she was there.
She slowly approached and was within his reach,
Maybe she should just touch his cheek.

The temptation more than she could bear,
She reached out and touched his hair.
Suddenly he turned around,
Looking straight at her not making a sound.

Disbelief apparent on his face,
As looked at his hand, holding a piece of lace.
A smile came to his lips as her soft lips brushed his face,
She was in his fantasy for a brief time and space.
