Love…Cold as Ice
A slice of ice
Love is cold and so is ice, feel the shivers, taste the freeze
Death of love and kiss of life
Red Roses blooming out of the shining cold ice until touched by warmth, a death of beauty
Life is harsh and so is love, thick as ice but a genius mind
Love…
Creeps into your head, makes you think, makes you listen, moulds your heart shapes it as a block… a block of ice
Wonders of love
Those good times and bad times
But ice is ice, cold as ever
And so is love, so very thick, a chunk, a mind changer and a twist in your life
Until it all ends in a puddle of water
A mess which leaves a stain in your life as your fate creates another twist
Life ends in death
Taking memories away with you in the grave, all those dreams washed out until they defrost underground
A slice of ice…
