Is what you desire more
Than just a one time meal?
Is an eternal relationship
With a man like him even real?
Does your hormones shoot in
Different directions when you see him?
Do you enjoy departing from your roots
To be as bad as a rotten apple with him?
Is a man who grips your soft spots
And orders you like a dog what you like?
Is it lovely to see him reject your ride
And tell you to hop on him like a bike?
Does your inside ever squirm for me?
A Godly man who stands as Love’s metal
Do you want me to polish you so we can
Both be metals drawn to Love’s meddle?
Is it that you recognize God
But only as myth rather than reality?
Is it the God in me that turns you off
Because you want a devil’s man in actuality?
Does my love for you have value
While you work in sin slow instead of fast?
Do you mean to tell me you choose him
While a Godly man, like me, will finish last?
2 Timothy 3:6-7
They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
