One foot in front of the other,
hoping it’s not a mistake.
God as my guidance, right along with faith.
Love is at eye level,
Not on a pedestal, it’s within reach.
Hope, faith, love- love is the greatest of all three.
Even though I’d never thought
This would be me
Looking at love, intimacy, and gregariousness so differently.
Want to experience this fully.
And extracting these things because of
the simple things
that mean so much to me
There were missing pieces
but I didn’t know where to start.
My focus was on my past
and you altered my focus to now
I continue to become a better woman
and in the midst of it all, a good man found me.
No need to force anything,
it comes naturally.
Now it seems like your one of the pieces
that fits perfectly.
Seems like everything is coming together
by the day and by the hour.
They say pleasure is pain.
This is the first time I can truly say I disagree.
And say it with confidence and a smile on my face.
With no second thoughts, guesses or insecurities anymore.
I love you.
You are a blessing.
