You are staring at me with your sweet eyes,
I can feel your heart beat against my chest,
We will never say any last goodbyes,
Being so close to you I feel at rest.

When you said those fateful words, I love you,
It feels as if those butterflies grew huge,
I want to be forever, just us two,
And I know you will never be a scrooge.

Now we hold hands and walk with each other,
Curling my soft fingertips around yours,
Can’t ever picture me with another,
We can walk forever on the small shores.

Staying with you forever, just like glue,
All I want to say is I love you too.
