The luminescent moon,
With subtle sparkle,
Aglow in the black of night

Shedding brilliant light
On anything in its path
Sweet shimmering moon
A glint of hope

Hidden during the day
Seldom exposing itself
Only Shedding its gift
When all has gone dark
