Life is a big window in which i look out
i see myself in America, a land i could not do without
Alhough beyond the freedom and the gain
i see a land that has lost its fame
we are stuck in slavery (an not the kind about race)
but we are bound to our possessions
with no one to drag us out of this race
Money, and vegas with people marching about
naked and awkward, kid stare and gawk
their mouths hang open as celebs let them down
when will we realize, celebs dont wear the crown?
we’re bound to our lust, our love and our pride
as long as we keep watching the show before our eyes
we cannot realize that we are very poor
becasue it is the money, the sex, the fame and the glam
the screaming, the yelling, the heartache and pain
we are all asleep to our infinite doom
but who will wake us up? will it be you?
