there aint no shame in poor
when the rich would stand by
and watch you starving, crying, reaching
for something in the distance while we’re preaching,
for God to come closer/let him see things,
acts of mischiefs? We’re still breathing?
I see confusion in your eyes child
don’t be afraid your free to cry child

I’m stuck with just one question
I see no answer near
I buck and buck while thinking
I’ll live the rest in fear
I tell you I am someone
I hide my truth inside
how am I to know when one
will just completely die
I know I’m just another
human part of this life
and breathing, living, eating
like you I complete this lie
