She was walking up the boulevards
And telling me all she had in her heart
I kept listening for all that I know
And before we could find a shed, the rains start

I took her hand and rushed to the tree
She smiled and dragged me out
Those rains will never fall again
My hands will never hold and eyes will never doubt

I pulled her close and wrapped her around
Drops were sliding down our hair tips
They were falling drop a drop
On my cheeks and on her lips

She moved her hands in my coat
She bought me past weekend
I could feel her breath and she closed her eyes
And we kissed till the gloaming end

The rains kept falling, through the leaves and through the skies
Holding me around the neck, she kept her feet on mine
Who says there can’t be another world
I have the reason in my arms and I could draw the line.
