Under the stars
at 12 am.
snuggled into arms that will always be there.
shooting stars rip through the sky.
sharp yellow lights fly around and around.
new stars come
old stars fade away.
into the distance or into the midnight blue sky.
round and round the world they fly,
until they fall into the earth to leave an crater,
or back into the space [...]

And when the last breath of my life, I’ll take,
And beneath the dust when my corpse will lay.
What will I deserve; awards or punishments…
For a life in which, rarely, I bowed down to pray.
I kept gossiping n giggling on absurd things,
Though I knew life’s not a game to play.
My soul being mine, never sustained me
