For a second there I imagined all that could be..
and didn’t see you in that vision of mine..
for a second there I was happier then I was in awhile and everything seemed to be divine..
for a second there my heart was almost complete with the exception of a few..

I neva wished fo world peace cause my momma said “dont u waste wishes”
if god were to answer my prayers I’ll wish fo what’s worth wishin
like brotherly love and a truck load of Hersey kisses
I ain’t wish fo the finest man to make me his Mrs’s
cause I know better than to wish fo somethin that [...]

The storm is marching
Across the plain
Waiting to strike
Down its prey
We’re unable to
Stop its command

I have friends as well as mates
