As i attempt to pick the lock to the gateways of succsess
I second guess. If i want to progress, or if i want to head into a new direction,
stepping over a puddle
yet looking at my reflection,
and thinking about how the
mistakes in the past have only lead up towards my future corrections.

Striding down my little street,
six inch platforms on my feet.
an accident waiting to happen,
silver coat tails a flapping.
I must have looked an awful sight?
dressed up to go out for the night.
orange lips and purple lashes,
jeans adorned with lightning flashes!
swayed to the music holding on to each other,
the platforms always caused some bother,

while others cry
some are glad

most go on not caring who they hurt
while leaving others behind in the dirt
but no matter what happens
either good or bad
life goes on
kids are bullied
while parents worry
some throw around money as if it’s nothing
while there are people starving and suffering

stamping hard,warming cold toes,
whipeing red,and dripping nose.
heads turn to watch the blackest sky,
eager to see the rockets fly!
wrapped up against the winter chill,
then overhead the nighttime fills.
zipping through the air,they crack!
zapping, like a lightning flash!
rainbows of colours cascade down
sizzle,fizzle to the ground.
slithering silver,shimmering golds,
orange,blue,crimsons,brash and bold!
flowers pop!bloom to disappear,
glowing stars,trickle to the earth.

Listen, listen as the earth cries out to you and to me
Listen, as people continue to pollute the oceans and seas
