she met me in middle of night, when chills lead to an immense fright,
i took her hands in mine, and she blushed sayin’, ya gotta be right,

a promise evolved all of a sudden, that assured both of the act,
mind stopped for a moment, eyes lowered for a pledge to enact,

eyes lookin in eyes, with souls generating immense love,
with love gettin’ true essence, and lies lying far above,

mind surrendered as a whole, soul responded to mate,
freakin’ bein’ naive , sometimes is the irony of the fate,

then the morning came, and the words took a turn,
leaving thoughts swirlin’, with feelings taking a churn,

i walked with hand in hand, with misty eyes filled with sand,
she left with an intriguin stance, makin it a one night stand,

i didnt want to step up, and face the bitter taste of life,
coz’ it has always lead to, messed up inculcated strife,

still, the day haunts me, as the trust went far away,
hope, life still moves on, coz’ dont wann’ it go astray…..
