As I look into the sky, I see stars falling apart.
The falling embers burn my skin to white as I become coated in ashes from the past.
With the light that is left, I see your face.
As it becomes clearer I notice that it’s aflame with anger.
Must you be mad, did I not do as you asked?
Did I not bring to you the very stars that light the night sky?
As the rest of the light fades into darkness I see a faint smile on your face.
I taste drops of blood on my tongue, can you not taste them when we kiss?
Scream my name into the sky so that I can hear your voice.
Then watch as the tide washes away the sky.
Swallow all hope, for it is to late.
Kill all senses, so not to be mistaken.
Grasp for your loved one, so not to get lost.
Then jump into the darkness, for only nothingness will guide you.
You are the lost light of the sky.
Forget everything for it will only hinder your path with wicked thorns.
Why do you kill me with your stare?
All I do is stay by your side, all I do is build you a temple with those that have fallen beneath me.
Your light shining on me makes these ash covered bones quake with warmth, these bloodied hands lust for your touch, and these long since rotted eyes shine with your beauty.
